Below we present the brief history of our company. We hope that together we can write further chapters.
Gold Medal during a Home Brewing Competition (Konkurs Piw Domowych) for our first beer - Jastrzębskie Trzy Zboża (Three Grains)
Foundation of Jastrzębska Akcja Piwowarska (Jastrzębie Beermaking Movement) - the association of more than a dozen of homebrewers from Jastrzębie-Zdrój and the surrounding towns.
Brewing of our first beers at the JAP contract brewery: Jastrzębska Mozaika, Jastrzębski Poranek, Jastrzębskie Trzy Zboża
We found a location for our own brewery - Browar Jastrzębie

The main purposes for which we plan to spend 87.5% of the funds raised through this public offering of shares are the construction of the brewery and purchase of the necessary equipment. We’ve made our first steps in order to achieve this goal. The company already owns the land on which we will build our facilities, along with the initial architectural plans and a visualization of the project. We plan to complete the investment in Q2 2019.
By starting the construction from the ground up we can build an energy-efficient brewery in accordance with the strictest principles of ergonomics. In designing the brewery we have put particular emphasis on designing a modern, low-emission building. The fully automated machine park will enable us to:
The building will include a conference room of 60 sq. m. where we will organize events for external clients, investor meetings and beer tasting. In the future, we will diversify our operations, by organizing tours of the brewery and training courses for brewers. We will develop a network of distribution channels, starting with our own multi-tap pub, where we will offer fresh Browar Jastrzębie beers. Within several years we plan to create a wholesale business serving the area of the entire voivodeship.
One of our goals is to create a local community focused around Browar Jastrzębie. We will establish a close cooperation with the local football club - GKS Jastrzębie for which we will brew stadium beer and we will release a limited series of beers for the fans of the Jastrzębie-based team. Investors from other parts of the country will also take an active part in the life of the company by participating in the annual general assembly of shareholders where they will have the opportunity to taste a kind of beer if their choosing.
Browar Jastrzębie offers 7 different kinds of beer. Aside from the production based on the recipes of our own master brewers, the company will produce contracted batches for other beer brands which do not have their own brewing infrastructure. First contracts with such beer brands have already been signed. Thanks to additional contracts we will be able to fully use our means of production and optimize our costs.
“Browar Jastrzębie will stand ground on not two, but three legs. First will be the beer we make ourselves, second will be the production for contracted brands, small brewing initiatives without their own brewing capabilities. The third leg will be white label production. We can make your beer according to your own recipe, which will be bottled with your own labels.”
The beer revolution has already begun. The market for craft beers in Poland is undergoing a real boom in recent years. Statistics don’t lie. In the coming years, this sector will be one of the fasters growing segments of the food&beverage industry.
Despite the popularity of craft beer in Poland, the Polish beer market is still mostly centralized. Beer manufacturing statistics show that Poland is the 3rd beer manufacturer in Europe, following only the two global beer superpowers - the UK and Germany. The proportion of the amount of beer manufactured to the number of active breweries is very surprising when compared to other European countries.
And so, by correlating data regarding beer production and the number of breweries, we can see that Polish beer makers manufacture twice as much beer per annum, despite the fact that the number of breweries in the country is only half of the number of breweries in the country of our southern neighbors, the Czechs. In the UK, a similar amount of beer is brewed in ten times as many breweries! Analysts predict a rapid growth of craft beer manufacturers in the coming years. The number of breweries may even rise above 800.

Polish consumers only recently began to appreciate different tastes in beer. In recent years consumption of beer in Poland was quite stable, oscillating at about 98-99 liters per person. But the preferences of consumers of the golden beverage seem to change. They are more open to new tastes and brand is no longer as important as the type of beer which they choose. Statistics don’t lie, the number of new kinds of beer offered by manufacturers increased three times between 2014 and 2017.
Each year about 50 new beer manufacturing initiatives arise in the Polish market and in 2017 there were about 210 active breweries. Looking at the most mature beer markets, experts predict, that the trend for decentralization of the beer market is going to become stronger and the market share of craft beer in total beer sales is going to grow from 0.5% to 6% throughout the next decade.

Valuation of the company is composed of several elements including both tangible and intangible assets. Browar Jastrzębie is managed by a team of professionals with vast experience in running business enterprises. Their experience combined with an excellent knowledge of the local structures helped to build a broad network of potential business partners. Poland is currently the third largest manufacturer of beer in Europe, following only the two global beer superpowers - Germany and the United Kingdom. The market for craft beers is one of the most dynamically developing markets, not only in Poland but in entire Europe. Our valuation is based on cash-flow compared with the competition and the valuation of the market in which they operate.
Valuation of cash-flow compared to the competition and the market in which they operate. Young, high-potential market. Rapidly growing and large market (Poland is the 3rd manufacturer of beer in the world).
By buying shares in Browar Jastrzębie you purchase shares in a company at a very early stage of development. The market of young companies and startups is different from other markets in a way that when the companies grow, their shares also significantly gain value, sometimes by a multitude of their initial valuations.
Yes - according to the law you can sell your shares as you wish, at any price you choose.
Share ownership does not impose any obligations on the owner. Once a year you will receive an invitation to the General Assembly of Shareholders.
Yes - we cooperate with Beesfund.com, an experienced platform which runs similar campaigns and a law firm, which takes care of all the formal issues. Most importantly, the public offering campaign has been registered with the Financial Supervision Commission (KNF).
Yes, there are many breweries in the world which have gained funding through the mechanisms of equity crowdfunding. The UK bears the leading position in crowdfunded beer making - that’s where such breweries as BrewDog, the most known case of a brewery financed by a community of investors, came to be. In similar campaigns, they have gathered 22 millions of Pounds! Another case is Stone Brewing which raised 2.5 Million Pounds. In the Polish market, there are examples such as Inne Beczki - a brewing company which conducted a similar campaign through Beesfund several years ago. Today they are making beer in their own brewery! All this was made possible through equity crowdfunding.
Yes, we plan to pay dividends. We want our Shareholders to create a community around the brewery, to make this happen we have made the decision to pay as much of the annual profits as possible in the form of dividends to our shareholders. Our goal is for our shares to become a good alternative to long-term bank deposits, generating a constant profit and reliable income.
If we do not raise all of the necessary funding in this campaign we plan to launch another campaign based on the so-called investment tokens, a.k.a. blockchain tokens, but at this stage of our activity we are focusing on the crowdfunding campaign.
Regardless of how we manage to gather funding, with the amount of e.g. PLN 2M we can also begin the construction of our brewery, but we will have to support the business with additional sources of funding, e.g. a bank loan, leasing for the equipment, re-leasing of the building which we already have and are renovating or gaining a strategic investor. At this time we are not considering any of the alternative sources, as we plan to raise the full PLN 4 Million.
Discounts will apply to any purchases made in our future internet store, and the brick and mortar store which we will open next to the brewery, in partner stores and during events and fairs, where we will display our goods as well as in our BeerTruck - in this respect 2019 will be a very intense year. We will try to be everywhere where it makes sense to be where something interesting is happening. We’re sure you’ll find us somewhere.
The value of the discount depends on the products the Investor buys - we will offer a different discount for our tee-shirt and a different discount for the Beer Geek Package, or for ready-made beer. We would like the discounts to begin at 15%.
